Parenting Class
This is a four-hour parernting class offered quarterly on a Saturday. Topics may include but are not limited to the following:
The RP3M Model of Parenting: Respond to your child in an appropriate manner. Preventing risky behavior or problems before they arise. Monitoring your child’s contact with his or her surrounding world. Mentoring your child to support and encourage desired behaviors. Modeling your own behavior to provide a consistent, positive example for your child. Education on “virtual lives” texting and sexting and the dangers of misusing the technologies that surround us. Becoming an “aware” parent.
